Behaviour Experiment π§ͺ
The Behaviour Experiment is an intervention from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to challenge unhelpful thoughts and expectations of a client against reality.

Create a to do: Behaviour Experiment
Create a to-do for your client, to fill in behaviour experiment(s) as homework
- In the toolbar, select: Exercise
- Select: Behaviour experiment -> Create to-do
- Select an end-date for the exercise
- Choose if the exercise should be repeated
- The client will receive the to-do on their to-do list in the NiceDay app
- You can edit created behaviour experiments

Behaviour experiment: Fill in together with client
Together with a client, you can also fill in the behavioural experiment
- In the toolbar, select: Exercise
- Select: Behaviour experiment -> Fill in with client
You can fill in the following steps:
- Unhelpful thought and credibility on a scale: 0-100%
- Helping thought and credibility on a scale: 0-100%
- Description of the experiment
- Description of two possible outcomes
- Title (optional)
- Date & time for experiment deadline
- Notification for the client on/off π
Execution and reflection
In the app, the client chooses whether one of the two predicted outcomes was correct (or a third, alternative outcome).
The client again scores the credibility (0-100%) of both thoughts and reflects on the experiment.
A completed behaviour experiment is identified on your client's 'Data' tab by the green tick.
